Getting the Most out of an Investigation

It seems that more often than not, SIU departments are frustrated or unhappy
with the results investigators provide. Why are most issues the same in all investigations for insurance companies? How do these issues affect the SIU and the investigation firm?

We will look at case assignments from the beginning and the first communication between the SIU and the Investigation Company.

Individual company performance can vary from region to region. What can we learn on how to get the investigation off on the right foot? How can you have a much better result from your investigator and take pressure off of your department?

Most importantly, what are the common factors in a successful investigation, from the SIU standpoint and the investigators? Are the facts for a successful investigation the same as those of the investigation company? What is considered a job well done?

Last but not least, the future, what changes and direction is fraud investigation going and, how will it affect SIU Departments and Investigation Companies?

Red Flag Workshop

Our Red Flag workshop offers you and your team detailed information on how to recognize those "red flags" that are often involved with identifying injured workers claim fraud. It will assist you in what to look for when evaluating a claim, and help you to determine if surveillance investigation should be pursued. In addition, the workshop also focuses on strategizing for a successful surveillance investigation.

APD Fraud Schemes

A training session explaining some of the more common vehicle theft and accident fraud schemes and the investigative tools and methods to combat this type of fraud.

Training to show some of the more common abuses of the system from claimant to provider fraud.

What to Look Out for in Your Investigative Vendor

An inside look at red flags to be on the look out for in your investigative vendors. I cover items like how to spot if your vendor uses poorly trained investigators as explained by a quality control manager of an investigations company.
